Beginning in the late aughts as a group of young students who were known for staging wild, spontaneous performances on public city streets, Ghostmouth has evolved into a decade spanning sonic institution that has shared stages with like minded sound benders such as Lee Ranaldo, The Flaming Lips, The New Pornographers, and Okkervil River.
Sean Levine and Donovan Seaberg started the group with punk ambitions, but quickly found a cult following in fans of psychedelic music after releasing their experimental debut album, Grow.
Their newest record, Vomit, finds ringleader and multi-instrumentalist Sean Levine organizing creative chaos. Flutes, trumpets, wild noises and feedback spar with candy coated rhythm sections in a triumphant fusion of post-punk and avant jazz.
